‘Threat to 4 small states is existential’: secretary general

Baroness Patricia Scotland, the secretary general of the Commonwealth, in an interview, warned the leaders that some of the world's smallest countries could "disappear" without action at an upcoming UN summit to contain climate change. "The threat to the 42 small states is existential," Baroness said, adding that people say it as if they don’t mean it.
