Gold Rate Lower, Oil Prices Edge Up

NEW DELHI: Since September 9th, an increase of 0.02% in spot gold price in India was seen but it was lower than last week's average of Rs 50,528.57 by 0.04%.

Global gold prices dropped by 0.08%, the spot gold prices in India saw a growth of 0.02%, taking the value to Rs 50,510 from Rs 50,500.

Oil futures managed to get back some of the losses they sustained in the previous session, however, the demand for oil is meek due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown. 

Benchmark dropped more than 5% on Tuesday to fall below $40 for the first time since June this year.
