During this pandemic, social distancing is important but it should not happen at the cost of your health. Staying indoors all the time will prevent exposure to sunlight which leads to a lack of Vitamin D in people.

Not getting enough Vitamin D can lead to health issues and bone density or strength issues.

You need Vitamin D to be able to absorb calcium in your body. Lack of Vitamin D leads to a lack of calcium, which leads to pain in the bones and altered mobility.

Vitamin D deficiency can lead to you feeling depressed and hopeless, a study published in PubMed Central journal.

The immune system is also affected, risking the body’s ability to fight infections and illnesses.
