Dead bodies or corpses continue to move for more than a year after the death, as per an earlier study by researchers from Australia.
This is due to the dehydration of ligaments and decomposition where a corpse, which is left unmoved, seems to be in a different pose or position.
For eg: arms or legs, which were kept in one position appear to lie indifferently when compared to how it started, according to researcher Alyson Wilson.
The study was published in the journal Forensic Science International: Synergy.
However, the researchers reiterated that they don't expect the corpses to make any radical changes in the body movement.
