Italian designer released the world's most expensive bag to raise awareness about ocean conservation but the irony is that it is made of alligator skin.

The bag is created by the luxury Italian brand, Boarini Milanesi is made from semi-shiny alligator and it is worth €6m (Rs 52,40,15,409).

The bag is embellished with a diamond pavé accessory and 10 white gold butterflies with sapphires, diamonds and Paraiba tourmalines.

The brand expressed concern about the lasting impact that non-biodegradable plastics have on marine life and proceeds will go towards operations that clean the oceans.

Brand’s co-founder Matteo Rodolfo Milanesi spoke about the presence of plastic in the ocean.

Several critics pointed out the irony in their cause because they made the bag with alligator skin.
