NEW DELHI: 20 soldiers martyred in a clash with the Chinese military at the border area in Galwan Valley, Ladakh on June 15th are given tributes.

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) decided to name different wards at India’s biggest COVID-19 treatment facility in Delhi after the soldiers who died in combat.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is India’s largest hospital with the capacity to hold as many as 10,000 patients.

It is being managed by medical experts from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).

Added to that, actor and filmmaker Ajay Devgn recently announced that he is going to make a movie on the 20 slain soldiers.

Co-produced by Ajay Devgn Films and Select Media Holdings LLP, the film's description says, "story of the sacrifice of 20 Indian army men who fought the Chinese army."

The killing of 20 soldiers in Ladakh furthered the escalation between India and China where India accused China of expansionism.
