Annual Keralite festival Onam is celebrated with celebrities taking to social media to wish the same.
Onam is celebrated for four days; Uthradam, Thiruvonam, Avittam, and Chathayam.
August 31st observes the Thiruvonam day, which as per legends, commemorates King Mahabali, whose spirit is said to visit Kerala.
Onam is seen various activities such as Vallam Kali (boat races), Pulikali (tiger dances), Pookkalam (flower Rangoli), Onathappan (worship), Onam Kali, Tug of War, Thumbi Thullal (women's dance), etc.
This year, the Onam festival is neutralised by the COVID-19 pandemic but netizens observed Onam virtually.
