Bollywood actress Jahnvi Kapoor paid tribute to her late mother and South Indian superstar Sridevi. Sharing a picture of 'English Vinglish' actress, Jahnvi wrote, "Happy birthday, Mumma, I love you."

Sridevi died last year on February by accidentally drowning at a hotel bathtub in Dubai. This happened months before the release of Jahnvi's Bollywood debut film 'Dhadak' opposite Ishaan Khattar.
Anil Kapoor's wife and Sridevi's sister-in-law Sunita also paid her tribute to the late actress.
Sridevi made her debut in films as a child artist in 'Maa Nanna Nirdoshi'. She went to become an established lead actress in Tamil and Hindi cinema. She is known for her roles in 'Moondram Pirai', 'Mr India', '16 Vayadhinile' and 'Chandni'.
She made excellent on-screen chemistry with Kamal Haasan who was regarded as one of the most popular couples in India.
She acted in over 300 films. Her film 'Mom' is regarded as her 300th film. After her death, she won a posthumous national award for best actress for her performance as a mother seeking revenge against her daughter's rapists in 'Mom'.
She made her final on-screen appearance in Aanand L Rai's 'Zero'.
Jahnvi will be seen in Karan Johar's 'Takht' and 'Kargil Girl' which is her first solo release as a lead heroine.
