Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu called out Bollywood A-list actors for not starring in supporting roles in women-led films.
For decades, movies were generally male-centric and A-list women's roles were limited to supporting love interests or eye-candies.
Pannu said that A-list actors won't do female-centric films unless he is co-producing it.
Shah Rukh Khan produced 'Dear Zindagi' and Aamir Khan produced 'Secret Superstar.'
In women-led films, Vikrant Massey in 'Chhapaak', Kangana Ranaut paired up with Jassie Gill for 'Panga', Alia Bhatt with Vicky Kaushal in 'Raazi,' Vidya Balan with Manav Kaul for 'Tumhari Sulu.'
A-list won't do films where they have nothing heroic to do.
