Sundar Pichai Took Over As CEO Of Alphabet

Sundar Pichai took over as the CEO of Alphabet and he will stay as the CEO of Google as well. He has been the CEO of Google for more than four years and it is one of the largest companies in the world.

Co-founders of alphabet  Larry Page and Sergey Brin will be stepping down as the CEO. They started Alphabet as a startup in Silicon Valley which went on top become one of the most powerful companies in the world.

Alphabet is an umbrella corporation created by Page and Brin in 2015, it boasts Google as its key moneymaker.

Sundar Pichai was being positioned as the de facto leader with his role in shareholders meetings, on the earnings call and congressional hearings spokesperson.

Pichai Sundararajan has assumed the position as the CEO of Google on October 2, 2015. He has also testified on behalf of Google on issues such as the alleged, potential political bias on Google’s platforms, censorship in China, etc.
