Climate activist Greta Thunberg urged Angela Merkel and other political leaders to come out of the comfort zone and treat climate and other related issues as a global emergency. She met with the German chancellor in Berlin.
Thunberg delivered Merkel a letter with 125,000 signatures calling on leaders to do more to cut emissions and make a brave decision.
Thunberg had appeared at the World Economic Forum in Davos but in recent days, her focus was on the pandemic instead of climate.
