COVID-19: India Sees A Dip In Number Of Cases, Kerala Adds Over 300 Deaths

NEW DELHI: Daily COVID-19 cases across India have been declining for the past few days, seeing a downward trend in the Omicron outbreak.
India has recorded 2,09,918 new cases of COVID-19 and 959 deaths amidst the Omicron variant outbreak in the country and around the world.
Union health ministry data revealed that the overall caseload of novel Coronavirus disease in India has climbed to 4,10,92,522 while the death toll climbed to 4,95,050.
Out of the total tally, 18,31,268 are active cases and 3,89,76,122 people recovered from it.
37,45,36,625 cases of COVID-19 have been reported around the world. US and India stands in first and second position when it comes to the highest number of cases.

As of Monday, Jan 31st, Kerala as a state has reported the highest number of deaths in the fresh 24 hours, adding 374 backlog deaths.
