Laughter and happiness can help a lot in terms of reducing or handling stress, according to a study published in the journal PLOS ONE.

Stress levels are reduced because laughter reduces levels of the stress hormone cortisol and releases happy hormones endorphins.

Laughing also pushes the mind into a positive state by putting off negative emotions like anger, guilt, and sadness.
