Data was taken from over 30,000 American adults who skip their breakfast and it was found that these adults were deficient in nutrients like calcium, vitamins and minerals the entire day. It is said that a shortage of these nutrients such as calcium, potassium and vitamins can lead to health problems.
People who skipped breakfast were more likely to eat more amounts of sugar, carbohydrates, and fat and their diet quality was lower than people who ate their breakfast daily. During a study, it was found that people who skipped their breakfast were more likely not to eat the food that the researchers hoped for people to consume.
