MUMBAI: YouTuber Puneet Kaur spoke up against businessman Raj Kundra who has been arrested by Mumbai police for allegedly making porn.
Kaur said that Kundra once sent her a direct message in connection with the supposed pornography.
Taking to Instagram stories, she said that Kundra reached out to her for hotshots. She thought at the time that it was a spam message.
She also added excerpts of the video in question, in which she and two others could be seen discussing the DMs.
They spoke about how he must be having a midlife crisis and wondering if his account has been hacked.
"Probably messing with girls to go to Hotshot.com to do something strange, I don't know," a man is heard saying in the video.
He has been booked under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) besides relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, according to the police.
Mumbai police added that they have not found any active role of Shilpa Shetty, actress and Kundra's wife, in the case.
"We will appeal to the victims to come forward and contact the Crime Branch Mumbai and we'll take appropriate action," said Milind Bharambe, joint commissioner of police (Crime).
