Deepika Opens Up On Surviving COVID-19, Pays Tribute To Mother

MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone spoke up about dealing with the second lockdown and COVID-19 with her family.
She said that after the infection, she changed as a person. Because she physically transformed due to the medications she was taking.
She and her family had COVID at the same time during the second lockdown and it took her a while to return to work.
Speaking to NDTV, the 'Chhapaak' actress said that she took two months off from work because her mind was not functioning well after the infection.
"COVID in itself was weird, your body feels different, your mind feels different," she said.

Deepika was last seen in recent release '83' where she played Romi, captain Kapil Dev's (Ranveer Singh) wife. She is also the producer of the film.
Recently, she posted on Instagram that she made the film as a tribute to her mother Ujjala Padukone.
