Flix News: Dame Diana Rigg Passed Away, Radhika Madan On Rhea Case

MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Radhika Madan condemned the media trial directed at actress Rhea Chakraborthy who is the alleged suspect in Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case. 

She said that Rhea deserves a fair trial until proven guilty as opposed to facing all the scrutiny before conviction. Madan lauded the late Rajput and regarded him as her inspiration in terms of going from TV to movies. 

Bollywood actor Sumeet Vyas condemned the sensationalisation of Sushant Singh Rajput suicide. He said that agencies like the Central Bureau of Intelligence and Enforcement Directorate are investigating the case and people should quit trying to solve it on Facebook and WhatsApp. 

'Game of Thrones' actress Dame Diana Rigg passed away at the age of 82. She was diagnosed with cancer in March and died due to the same. Her daughter and actress Rachael Stirling confirmed the news regarding her death.

The shooting of Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer 'Brahmastra' will resume soon. The duo has been visiting a dubbing studio in Bandra and completing the post-production work. Directed by Ayan Mukherji it is said to be the first of a trilogy and has Amitabh Bachchan playing a major role. 

26-year-old TV actress Kondapalli Sravani died by suicide and her family named her former boyfriend Devaraj Reddy for harassment. A case under Section 306 (Abetment to suicide) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against him by her parents. 

Veteran actress Surekha Sikri suffered from a brain stroke and is undergoing treatment at the hospital. National-Award winning actress's manager  Vivek Sidhwani dismissed rumours regarding the actress seeking financial assistance saying that she is all well to go. 

National School Of Drama (NSD) appointed veteran actor Paresh Rawal as Chairman. Rawal said that he looks forward to working with the future generation of the theatre arts. 

Actress Kangana Ranaut visited her office that was recently demolished by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) citing illegal structure and substantial changes that were a deviation from the sanctioned plan. She said that she will work on the ruins because she does not have the funds to get it renovated as she didn't work since the COVID-19 pandemic. She added that she will treat it as a symbol of a woman's will. 

BMC filed an affidavit in Bombay High Court saying that 'Queen' actress allegations of harassment and mala fide action were false.
