Deepika Feels Glad That She Was With Ranveer During Lockdown

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone said that she feels glad that she had spent the lockdown with her husband Ranveer Singh. 

They are taking all kinds of COVID-19 precautions including facemasks and other factors. 

The couple married in 2008 in Italy in both Kongini and Sindh wedding ceremony. 

The day also marks the 13th year of her entry in Bollywood with the blockbuster film 'Om Shanti Om' where she plays the double role. 

'Jallikattu' India's Official Entry To 2021 Oscars

South Indian film 'Jallikattu' is an Indian official entry to the 2021 Oscars. 

The film has been directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery and is based on a short story Maoist by Hareesh.

'Jallikattu' stars Antony Varghese, Chemban Vinod Jose, Sabumon Abdusamad, and Santhy Balachandran.

The film was chosen from 'Shakuntala Devi', 'Shikara', 'Gunjan Saxena', 'Chhapaak', 'AK vs AK', 'Gulabo Sitabo', 'Check Post', 'Atkan Chatkan', 'Serious Men', 'Bulbbul', and 'Kaamyaab.'

Offended By Kiss Inside But Not Kathua Rape: Swara Bhaskar 

Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar reacted to the outrage over a kissing scene inside a temple in the series 'A Suitable Boy' and calls for a boycott by saying that the same people were not offended by a gangrape inside a temple. 

She referred to the 2018 Kathua gangrape and murder of a Bakarwal immigrant girl, who was eight years old, inside a temple by several men including the person in charge of the temple. 

The case led to rallies supporting therapists and their release. Lawyer and police officers who were working on the case were threatened. 

Eventually, perpetrators were given life imprisonment and three others were sentenced to attempting to get rid of the evidence and blocking the investigation. 

Rasika Dugal On 'Delhi Crime’s International Emmy Win

Actress Rasika Dugal reacted to the International Emmy victory 'Delhi Crime' saying that the true success of the series is the awareness regarding the nature of women and how they are treated in the country. 

She played one of the major characters from the series which is based on 2012 Nirbhaya gangrape case which shook the nation.

Mads Mikkelsen Replaces Johnny Depp In 'Fantastic Beasts'

Hollywood actor Mads Mikkelsen replaced Johnny Depp as Gellert Grindelwald in 'Fantastic Beasts' series. 

55-year-old Mikkelsen is known for his role as the serial killer Hannibal Lecter in the U.S. television series 'Hannibal.'

Depp was asked to resign from the series after he lost the libel case to 'The Sun' in the UK.

The tabloid labelled him as a wife-beater and Depp took a case to his ex-wife Amber Heard, stating that he was falsely accused.
