Twitter Justifies Kangana's Account Suspension
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut's Twitter account was restricted for a few hours after she posted a tweet that the social media platform deemed in violation of its guidelines.
She weighed in on the 'Tandav' controversy where she stated that it was 'time to take their heads off'.
"Because even Lord Krishna forgave 99 mistakes of Sheshupala.... pehle Shanti phir Kranti (Silence must be followed by revolution).... time to take their heads off... Jai Shri Krishan," she had tweeted.
Twitter then suspended her account, leading to 'Manikarnika' actress's anger.
"We welcome people to freely express themselves on our service, however as outlined in our Abusive Behaviour Policy, you may not engage in the targeted harassment of someone, or incite other people to do so," said Twitter's statement regarding Kangana.
'Tandav' has been in the news recently over scenes that were deemed insulting to Hindu gods, referring to the scene where Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub's character dresses up as Lord Shiva.
Sunny Leone Reveals She Was Bullied As A Child
Bollywood actress Sunny Leone revealed that she was bullied as a child and she carried the pain with her for a long time.
"Bullying is like a circle, it goes around so usually when we see people who are bullied, they end up usually bullying somebody else. So, if you are being bullied maybe we can make a conscious effort to not bully," she said.
Sunny Leone is a former adult film actress who came to Bollywood through Pooja Bhatt film 'Jism 2.'
Deepika Padukone To Make Film From Draupadi's POV
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will be playing the role of mythical character Draupadi in a story narrated from her point of view.
In Mahabharata, Draupadi was married to Pandavas; Yudhishtir, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula and Sahadeva.
The war was conjured after she was publicly humiliated by Kauravas, where she was disrobed over a gambling bet. She was saved at the time by Lord Krishna.
Deepika will work with producer Madhu Mantena on the project that is based on the popular novel 'The Palace of Illusions.'
