Priyanka Shares Video On COVID-19 Effects In India

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra shared a video on the effects of COVID-19 in India. 

She shared with her fans and followers about how severely the second wave of COVID-19 affected Indians, where patients are seen struggling to find hospital beds and oxygen cylinders.

Priyanka had announced a fundraiser with 'Give India,' asking fans to make donations, along with her husband Nick Jonas. 

"63 million people follow me on here, if even 100,000 of you donate $10, that’s $1 Million, and that’s huge," she said.

Anushka Sharma Reveals Why She Didn't Celebrate Her Birthday 

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma said that she did not celebrate her birthday this year due to all the pain and suffering the nation is going through during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

She said that she and Virat Kohli will do what they can to help India during the crisis. She will share details about what she plans to do with Virat for the country. 

Anushka gave birth to her daughter Vamika this year. She produced two hit projects; 'Bulbbul' and 'Paatal Lok' last year. 

Raveena Tandon Urges People To Get Vaccinated

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon urged people to get vaccinated as soon as possible, as the country is suffering from the second wave of the disease. 

From this month onwards, people above 18 years of age can register and get vaccinated against the deadly disease. 

She also urged people to be careful and not to take the vaccination process for granted as people still can get the disease. 

 

Bhumi Pednekar Collaborates With Ketto.Org 

Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar collaborated with Ketto.org, for the 'COVID Warrior x Ketto' initiative to enable financial assistance to those who face economic issues during the second wave. 

Bhumi, who herself survived the disease, lost two people to COVID-19 within a span of 24 hours.

She extended support to her fans and followers on social media and started the initiative with Samiksha.
