Several stars continue to defend filmmaker Anurag Kashyap who has been named for sexual harassment by Telugu actress Payal Ghosh. While Roopa Ganguly and Kangana Ranaut defended Ghosh, Kashyap received support from ex-wives Aarti Bajaj and Kalki Koechlin.

Actress Tisca Chopra also defended Kashyap by regarding him as a source of support. However, others believed in judicial proceedings.

'Gangs of Wasseypur' director's former assistant Jaydeep Sarkar has also defended him saying that he had turned down casting couch offers in the past. He rejected sexual favours from a woman in return for work and expressed his disappointment.

Ali Fazal showed his support to fiancee Richa Chadha after her name was dragged by actor Payal Ghosh into the sexual misconduct allegation against Kashyap.
