MUMBAI: Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut posted a video message to Uddhav Thackeray after her office building was partially demolished by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
In the message, she accused the CM of colluding with the "movie mafia" to attack her. She warned him that tomorrow his pride will break.
As per reports, BMC had said that her building is illegal and that she was given notice about it in 2018.

Kangana was issued a demolition notice by Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM aka. BMC) in 2018 under MRTP Act.
She'd also approached the Dindoshi Sessions Court against it.
For all those weeping buckets: she KNEW this since 2 years.

But the BMC's actions followed after Kangana's social media rant where she compared Mumbai with Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) and exchanged harsh words with Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut.
Raut said that if she feels unsafe then she should avoid coming to Mumbai. Ranaut posted a message saying that she will come to Mumbai and no one can stop her.
Home Ministry granted her Y grade security for the same.
However, Kangana's comparison with her office demolition and exodus of Kashmiri Pandits did not sit down well. Screenwriter Rahul Pandita dismissed her claims.
For God’s sake, stop taking our name in vain. We refuse to be pawns in your battles of puny egos. Do not belittle our tragedy. Tomorrow your finger might get hurt somewhere. What will you say? I understand pain of Kashmiri Pandits?— Rahul Pandita (@rahulpandita) September 9, 2020
Kangana had been in the news for her problematic statements. She dismissed the mental health narrative by saying that there is no valid proof of mental illness.
She earned wrath by saying that reservation should be removed because modern Indians have disavowed the caste system.
