Bollywood actress Richa Chadha spoke about the recent controversy regarding the poster of her upcoming film 'Madam Chief Minister.'

She said that the first poster which featured herself holding a broom was an “unintentional oversight” and that it was regrettable.
Netizens, especially from the Dalit community, slammed the poster and makers for stereotyping Dalits.
The controversy was also conjured because it was assumed that the film is about former CM Mayawati. Mayawati was a teacher before she entered politics.
She described the film as a story of a woman defying both casteism and patriarchy.
