NEW DELHI: Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt loses his temper while responding to a question regarding his daughter's book during an event. At Shaheen Bhatt's book launch event, Mahesh Bhatt was talking about the importance of being a good listener in topics like mental health and depression.
He pointed out that Shaheen had a friend who would listen to her crying through the phone and wait till she is ok.
The reporter then asked if he is not looking for "answers” and that is when Mahesh lost his cool and shouted, "there are no answers”.
He said that there are pretenders who claim to have answers and they institutionalise and impose everything.
Shaheen then told that she warned them about this happening.
He said that he cannot expect a little girl like Shaheen to fit into a sick world as he himself is a misfit at 71. Shaheen Bhatt wrote a book titled 'I've Never Been (Un)Happier' which is about her struggles with depression.
She was part of the book launch event with her parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan and sisters Alia and Pooja Bhatt.
