Actress Manju Warrier took social media to announce that she and her crew from 'Kayattam' have safely returned to Manali after being stranded in Himachal Pradesh for almost six days following heavy rains and landslides.

30 members from cast and crew from Sanal Kumar Sasidharan's new film were stranded in Chhatru, a village on the way to Kaza, a popular tourist location in the Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh.

They were shooting for over three weeks before this.

Manju Warrier's brother Madhu had received a distress call from the crew saying that they are having a shortage of food supply after their shooting, due to the landslide as they were stranded.

Due to the Kerala floods, Manju's house was also affected but because she was stranded in Manali, she was unable to contact her mother back home.
