Bollywood actresses Richa Chadha and Taapsee Pannu opened up on the nepotism debate and Kangana Ranaut's criticisms about them.
In an interview with journalist Rajdeep Sardesai, Richa Chadha said that nepotism has always favoured star kids and insiders whereas the outsiders have to struggle.
She also criticised the media for giving star kids, even toddlers, too much publicity and that it feeds the overall nepotism and favouritism debate.
She also questioned why the media is not letting late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's family grief over his death and for shifting focus on nepotism debate from COVID-19 pandemic and related economic downfall.
She also pointed out how producers and others have abetted to discrimination by not supporting cinema workers financially.
Actress Taapsee Pannu slammed Kangana Ranaut for dragging down outsiders in her "fight for outsiders." Kangana conjured the nepotism by alleging that Sushant Singh Rajput was a victim of ostracisation and malignity by the Bollywood industry biggies because he was talented.
Kangana called out Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhaskar for supporting the likes of Karan Johar instead of calling out nepotism.
Taapsee has constantly engaged in a war of words with Kangana since she was called a "B-grade" actress who has never delivered a single solo hit.
Taapsee said that she finds Kangana's criticisms of her perplexing and that she is being bullied and harassed.
