MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Shefali Shah spoke about existing sexism and how double standards still persist. She mentioned how she feels that discrimination between men and women seems normal behaviour.
“It’s been years of conditioning, that a woman stays at home and looks after the house. She does the household chores, the husband goes out and works," she said.
She is never asked why she is not working whenever she hasn't committed a project. She is picked on a lot by her family for being too opinionated.
Shefali Shah made a tremendous comeback with Emmy nominated Netflix series 'Delhi Crime,' which is about Delhi police investigation related to 2012 gangrape of a paramedical student in a moving bus.
She has had two OTT releases this year; Hotstar Disney+ series 'Human' and Amazon Prime film 'Jalsa' with Vidya Balan.
