Music is one of the most powerful things invented by the human race. Music often acts like a mediator that helps one access their suppressed emotions like sadness, happiness, grief, pain or joy.
While listening to certain instruments or songs, people tend to cry.

This is because music can induce two types of emotions; perceived emotions and felt emotions in people.

When it comes to perceived emotions, people understand what the music is trying to convey whether it is sadness or happiness.

Felt emotions are something that we feel while listening because of that the music is also the best form of distraction.
