A Muslim man developed contactless bell to be used in temples to help to ensure social distancing amidst the COVID-19 (novel Coronavirus disease) outbreak and unlocking.

In Madhya Pradesh's Mandsaur Pashupatinath temple, authorities installed a sensor in the temple bell so that it can be rung without touching.

About the bell, Nehru Khan said that he wanted to ensure that people heard bells the same way people heard azaan.

He added that the bell works on the proximity sensor, a technology that is able to detect the presence of nearby objects without physical contact.

Netizens lauded the secular nature of this unity.
