WASHINGTON, US: Former vice president and Democratic Party’s presidential nominee Joe Biden slammed President Donald Trump for calling India's air "filthy" during the presidential debate.

He said that that is not how the President should be talking about their friends. He added that climate change and air pollution are global issues and that is not how one deals with it.

Biden said that he and his running mate Kamala Harris deeply value America’s partnership with India.

Biden and Trump engaged in a war of words over air pollution and climate change during the final presidential debate.

Trump defended his decision to pull out of the Paris climate agreement by saying that the air in Russia, China, and India are filthy.
