NEW DELHI: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi spoke on behalf of Muslim girls in Karnataka, by saying that it is a woman's right to wear what she wants.
Congress general secretary said adding that a woman can choose to wear a bikini, a ghoonghat, a pair of jeans or a hijab, which is a guarantee provided by the Indian constitution.
Congress batted for Muslim women's rights whereas the BJP cited the uniform's necessity while justifying the ban.
