NEW DELHI: Political leaders paid tribute to the slain CRPF personnel on the first anniversary of the deadly Pulwama terror attacks.
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh wrote on Twitter for the fallen CRPF personnel who were martyred during the dastardly attack in Pulwama saying that the nation will never forget them. He reiterated India's stand against terrorism.

The Pulwama terror attacks took place in February 14th 2019 where a Jaish-e-Mohammed suicide bomber attacked a CRPF convoy killing over 40 CRPF personnel.
A suicide bomber rammed the explosive-laden vehicle into the CRPF convoy in the highway Jammu and Kashmir district and Pakistan based terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack.

Additional Director General of CRPF Zulfiquar Hasan said that a memorial for the 40 CRPF personnel will be inaugurated at the Lethpora camp. The slain CRPF personnel's names and pictures will be part of the memorial.
National Investigation Agency filed a charge sheet against four JeM aides of Pulwama attack mastermind. India had responded to the Pulwama attack by conducting an airstrike at the Jaish-e-Mohammed training camp at Balakot.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi dropped the rhetoric as to who benefitted from the Pulwama terror attack.
