NEW DELHI: A village in Delhi opened a library specifically for women who are aspiring to participate in competitive exams.
The administration Karala village in Northwest Delhi came up with this idea to further motivate women who are preparing for competitive exams for fields like engineering, medicine, UPSC, and others.
This project comes under the government's 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' program thought of dedicating a women’s community library.

Books in the library for women aspirants of the village are selected by Vision IAS. Village administration is also planning to create counselling and guidance centers for competitive exams.
Kanjhawala’s Sub-District Magistrate, Saumya Sharma, said that this library is a necessity for women.
