Delhi Police Officer Promoted For Rescuing 76 Kids In 3 Months

Delhi based head constable Seema Dhaka received a rare out-of-turn promotion for rescuing 76 missing children in less than three months.

Promotion is part of the Asadharan Karya Puraskar incentive scheme announced by the city’s commissioner of police and Delhi’s Samaypur Badli police station officer received it.

The promotion is given to head constables who rescue 50 children below 14 years of age within the year. 

56 of the children that Seema rescued were below the age of 14. 

Nayla Abu Jubbah: Gaza City's First Woman Taxi Driver

The daring mother of five Nayla Abu Jubbah has made history by becoming the first female taxi driver in the deeply conservative Gaza Strip.

She decided to launch a little movement of herself, when it came to claiming her power as an equal in society.

Women and men are regarded as equals but the conservative culture prevented women from entering a male dominated profession like taxi service. 

She chose to become a taxi driver amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and economic repercussions.

Two Govt School Girls Secure MBBS Seats After Acing NEET In First Attempt

Two government school girls from Coimbatore received their admission letters in Tamil Nadu medical counselling.

They cleared the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020, in their first attempt without attending any special coaching.

Two girls; S Ramya got a seat in PSG Institute of Medical Sciences, Coimbatore.

P Bistis Prisca received her admission letter to study in Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Perambalur.


70% Of Women Considered For Army Permanent Commission

Officials said that  70% of women officers who were considered for permanent commission in the army by a special selection board have been selected to serve a full term.

Officials said that out of 615 women, 422 have been found to be fit for the role by the board.

Central government’s July 23 order specified grant of permanent commission to women officers; 

  1. Army Air Defence (AAD)
  2. Signals, Engineers
  3. Army Aviation
  4. Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME)
  5. Army Service Corps (ASC)
  6. Army Ordnance Corps (AOC)
  7. Intelligence Corps 
  8. Judge and Advocate General (JAG) 
  9. Army Educational Corps (AEC).


Woman Makes Record By Travelling World In 3 Days

Dr. Khawla Al Romaithi from UAE made it to the Guinness book of world records by travelling the world in just 3 days 14 hours 46 minutes.

She completed her trip around 208 countries to bag the world record title, ending her trip in Sydney, Australia. 

Chhattisgarh Launches India’s First Ever Mobile Clinic For Women

Chhattisgarh launched the unique – ‘Dai-Didi (Mother-Sister) clinic’, which is a first all women mobile clinic for women.

Women in Chhattisgarh have launched a mobile clinic service that will give women not just access to healthcare while feeling safe and secure. 

‘Dai-Didi clinic’ would be seen offering its free health services in the municipal limits of Raipur, Bilaspur, and Bhilai under the Mukhyamantri Urban Slum Health Scheme.
