MUMBAI: Maharashtra state Director General of Police (DGP) Sanjay Pandey expressed his concerns about the increase in the number of rape and murder incidents involving minors.

In a Facebook post, he wrote, "rape and murder of minor girls had taken place in Maharashtra in the past few days and the police must probe them as soon as possible, arrest the culprits."

He hoped that the police will work such that the charge sheet will be filed in 60 days.

He said that the police must monitor railway stations, colleges, etc to keep a check on eve-teasing by men.
