Sprinter Dutee Chand has been looking after her village people during this Coronavirus pandemic by providing relief kits.
Her relief package, apart from grocery items, also included sanitary napkins which are often disregarded in most relief packages.
She delivered relief packages by driving to her village Chaka Gopalpur in Jajpur district in her Mahindra XUV500.
About including sanitary napkins in her package, she said that it is an essential commodity for women but the taboos stop them from talking about it and endure it quietly.
She paid Rs 50,000 from her own pockets and got funds from Achyuta Samanta, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) founder and BJD Member of Parliament.
