BCCI Owes Star Players 10 Months Worth Payment

NEW DELHI:  BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) hasn’t paid some of the world’s richest cricketers their dues for close to 10 months, according to reports. 

BCCI is the world's richest cricketer board and 27 elite contracted players are yet to receive the first of the quarterly installments since October last year. 

Contracted players are given 99 crores annually. Grade A+ cricketers get Rs 7 crore annually, grades A, B and C players get Rs 5 crore, Rs 3 crore and Rs 1 crore, respectively. Whereas the cricket match fees for each Test, ODI and T20 are Rs 15 lakh, Rs 6 lakh and Rs 3 lakh, respectively.
