In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic and shutdowns,  ICC Chief Executives unanimously agreed on a revamp of its Futures Tours and Programmes (FTP) till 2023.

The executives agreed, through video conferencing, on a decision about the World Test Championship and the proposed ODI league, scheduled in June to be conducted later on.

ICC said in their statement to the media that the currently disrupted FTP programmes would need to be collectively reviewed through to 2023 with a view to rescheduling as much of the cricket that has been postponed due to the pandemic.

They will also need to look at contingency plans for the ICC men’s T20 World Cup 2020 and the ICC women’s Cricket World Cup 2021.
