NEW DELHI: India lost two major matches to Pakistan and New Zealand but the nation still has a chance to qualify for the semi finals.
If not then it will be the first time in eight years and eight ICC tournaments that India will fail to reach the semi-finals.
India has to play against Afghanistan, Scotland, and Namibia teams. Even if the team beats all three, India's progress to the semi-final would depend on the outcome of other games as well.
Pakistan is at the top of the table and looks comfortably placed to sail through to the knockouts and India is placed fifth in their Group 2.
The format of the Super 12 is such that only the top two teams from each group will be eligible to progress to the semi-finals.
