Indian cricketer Virat Kohli announced that he will step down as India's T20I captain after the ICC T20 World Cup in UAE and Oman this year.
Kohli had been leading India in all three formats ever since MS Dhoni decided to step down as the limited-overs skipper in 2017.
He will remain India's captain of ODI and Test cricket and will be available as a player in all formats.
Royal Challengers Bangalore also praised him on their social media handles.
Virat Kohli has blamed work-load management as the reason to step down from T20 captaincy.
