13-year-old Muriki Pulakita Hasvi from Hyderabad has scaled Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.
She spoke to the media and expressed her happiness and shared the experience of scaling Mount Kilimanjaro.
She said the preparation for this mountaineering expedition started three months back after the Everest base camp was done in April this year.
"It was an adventurous experience, Mount Kilimanjaro is such a mountain where you experience all the weather conditions so I," she said.
"I got to know about mountaineering through a movie. My future goal is to get to the top of all 7 summits across the world," added Pulakita Hasvi.
She added that she wanted to complete all seven summits before 2024 after finishing off the base camp. And she is preparing for it.
"What I learnt in all this is that for mountaineering, you have to be mentally strong, so I used to do all the activities like Yoga and Meditation to keep myself mentally," she said.
"My message to all young generations is not to ask them to choose Mountaineering but to basically tell them to conquer their mountain in their lives," she added.
