The first presidential debate between US President Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden was marked by angry interruptions and bitter accusations. The pandemic, job losses, and health care were major topics.
The debate was marked with Trump interrupting Biden constantly, so often that the democrat eventually snapped at him and said: "Will you shut up, man?"
Biden said that Trump is the worst president America has ever had. To which, Trump replied: "You could never have done the job we’ve done. You don’t have it in your blood."
Biden said that Trump pays less tax than a schoolteacher. He called out Trump for taking advantage of the tax code and calling himself smart for that.
Trump did not say when he will make his personal tax public as he has long promised. Instead, he went on to talk about how the people of Ohio are proud of him for bringing back football. Trump said that he has done more in 47 months than Joe Biden has done in 47 years.
