WASHINGTON, US: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met US Vice President Kamala Harris. Duo discussed various issues including India-US partnership, COVID-19 pandemic, Pakistan's role in terrorism, etc.
PM Modi thanked VP Harris for US's role in aiding India during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"India and America are natural partners; we have similar values, geopolitical interests, and our coordination and cooperation is also increasing," said PM to VP Harris.
VP Harris expressed concerns about Pakistan's role in terrorism. There were terror groups working in Pakistan and she asked Islamabad to take action so the matter does not threaten the security of India and the United States.
PM also met American corporate leaders on a one-on-one basis from a range of diverse sectors ranging from drones to 5G, semiconductors, and solar.
